MoneyGram has partnered with Bank of China to launch a new service that allows its Chinese customers to receive funds from around the globe at any time.

The new self-service channel, which includes website, kiosk and tablet access, will let clients accept MoneyGram transactions into their Bank of China accounts 24 hours a day.

The service will also allow receivers to access funds in a range of currencies including the US dollar, the pound, the euro and the Australian dollar.

MoneyGram executive vice president Asia Pacific, South Asia, Middle East and Russia Grant Lines said: "MoneyGram’s launch with Bank of China means that our customers in China can conveniently receive funds with the click of a few buttons.

"This makes money transfers easier for our customers and also expands the company’s self-service offerings around the world."
