The new solution, known as KONNECT Card ‘K Card’, will allow subscribers to create a customised mobile business card, which will connect the users contact info, digital, social and multi-media content. It will also enable users to track card opens, views and third party sharing.

The K Card can be shared by text, email and social media, and will generate instant text alerts of new leads and referrals while providing database analytics.

Kirkwood chief marketing officer Will Winship said: "The K Card will revolutionise the notion of what a business card is meant to do, which is to make contact, and do it in a way that makes perfect business sense."

Kirkwood mobile division head Kevin Ruttan said: "With the KONNECT Card, a sales rep can reach out to someone through mobile in real time and share not only their contact information, but also distribute custom web, social and multi-media links in addition to a personal audio message."
