As part of the partnership, RentMoola’s PCI-compliant platform along with Mobetize’s technology will be provided so that property managers can receive mobile rent payments from their tenants.

The agreement will allow tenants to use credit cards for auto-recur and one-time payments from 100 countries, while operators can promote services like money remittance and transfer, bill management and global airtime recharge to their customers.

Mobetize co-founders Stephen Fowler and Ajay Hans in a joint statement said, "The time-honored process of paying the rent has historically been marred by inefficiencies, late payments and logistical challenges ranging from untimely mailing to traffic jams delaying personal delivery of rent payments.
