Vietnamese lender Military Commercial Joint- Stock Bank (MB) has joined forces with JCB International (JCBI) to introduce the MB JCB Sakura Card in Vietnam.

Users of the new EMV chip-enabled card can access information on card transactions anytime and anywhere through SMS, notification emails and the Vietnamese bank’s internet banking platform.
They can get special privileges at selected merchants as well as customer service at JCB Plaza, overseas service counters at 62 locations worldwide. Moreover, cardholders can also secure 40% discount through the Get&More program.
MB deputy CEO Le Hai said: "Aiming to fulfill all customers’ demand, MB always focuses on working with well-known international card brands in order to provide international cards which are smart, convenient and customer oriented.
"The cooperation between MB and JCB is necessary because JCB is the major card brand in Asia while MB is one of the top five commercial banks in Vietnam. Especially, MB was just conferred with the title "Hero of Labour", awarded by the Government. It once again affirms the position of MB in Vietnam banking system."
