MasterCard has appointed Ram Chari as CEO of the newly acquired Indian electronic payments solution provider ElectraCard Services (ECS).
Chari, who has over 20 years of financial services and processing experience, will be based in Pune, Maharashtra.

Most recently, he was senior business leader for alliances and processing at MasterCard in APMEA.
In his new role, Chari will be responsible for the smooth integration and overall execution of the company’s business strategy, as well as establishing dynamic synergies to fuel processing innovations.
In his previous role at MasterCard, Chari spearheaded developments in mergers and acquisitions as well as in organic business opportunities.
Prior to joining MasterCard, he was the CEO of Network International in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
