Mastercard has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and rewards app UTU to boost domestic tourism spending during this year’s Amazing Thailand Grand Sale.

Under the tripartite partnership, Mastercard will offer instant cashback to its cardholders who shop at participating merchants using their registered Mastercard credit card on the UTU rewards app.

Additionally, Mastercard will provide the cardholders with several discount programmes including its ‘Pay Now Travel Later’ initiative.

The‘Pay Now Travel Later’ programme offers cardholders special discounts and benefits at over 1,000 local hotels in Thailand. It allows guests to avail up to 40% discounts off their reservation or an extra night’s stay for free.

Mastercard World and World Elite cardholders will be able to avail 50% off or complimentary green fees at 13 premium golf courses in the country.

Furthermore, it will also provide discounts on other relevant essential services. This includes special rates for general practitioner video consultations and Covid-19 medical advice via online health provider Doctor Anywhere.
