UAE’s major financial institution Mashreq has partnered with a technical and management consulting company, emaratech, to introduce a new e-wallet called noqodi.
The new e-wallet will allow consumers to pay government services and other merchant services online.
According to Mashreq, noqodi will offer payment gateways for many government services such as eDNRD, Ejari, eMart, Registration Trustee.
Facilitated by a payment gateway platform, noqodi will manage revenues for the government services under a single platform.
Mashreq said that the customers will now be able to top-up their noqodi e-wallet instantly through MashreqOnline and its mobile banking app, Snapp.
emaratech director general, Thani Abdulla Alzaffin, added: "noqodi is becoming the preferred online and smart payment solutions for different government and merchant services in the UAE, providing highly secured e-wallet accounts through which Mashreq customers can now pay for a number of listed services in a convenient manner.
