Mashreq, a UAE-based financial institution, has launched UAE’s first INSTANT zero percent easy payment plan, to celebrate its participation at the upcoming Gitex Shopper 2014.
The consumer IT and electronics sales show will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 23 to 26 April 2014.

The new payment plan will allow card holders to split their payments instantly at the merchant counter to a zero percent easy instalment plan for tenures of their choice, in contrast to the current conventional process, where the cardholders have to call for conversion of their purchases to installments and then wait for the agent to call back for a confirmation.
Additionally, Mashreq cardholders will receive a free travel voucher worth AED100 ($27.2) for every Gitex purchase of worth AED2,000 ($544.4).
Mashreq will deploy the solution not only at the Gitex venue but also across over 100 outlets of its partners including Sharaf DG, Emax, Jacky’s and Jumbo.
