UAE-based banking institution Mashreq has launched the Mashreq sMiles Credit Card in the UAE that will allow customers to fly for free, instantly, with over 300 airlines including all domestic carriers of the UAE.
The scheme will present cardholders with a guaranteed give-back of 1.25% on every domestic purchase and 3.25% on all international expenditure with no tiers or caps.
Customers will have the option to instantly redeem accumulated sMiles for air tickets for self, friends and family, from anywhere including flights originating outside the UAE and at anytime without any black-out dates.
Mashreq will also enable redeeming of sMiles for hotel stays at over 180,000 properties across the globe, holiday packages and a host of ancillary services including car rentals, Marhaba ‘Meet & Greet’ and visa assistance.
Mashreq head of payments Nimish Dwivedi said: "With zero annual fees, a simple yet powerful ‘what you see is what you get’ proposition and a seamless redemption experience, our new Card democratizes air travel by doing away with entry barriers and making it ever so simple to get that free flight."
