Canada-based Libro Credit Union has selected Everlink Payment Services to provide Central Card Issuance (CCI) solutions to more than 100,000 owners of the credit union.
The solution will enable the credit union to cost-effectively produce contactless and EMV Chip debit cards from a central facility.
It will also offer distribution options to send the cards directly to the card-holder or to the branch, Everlink said.
Libro Credit Union executive vice president for information systems Scott Ferguson said: "Everlink is a proven leader in delivering innovative payment solutions, which is very exciting as Libro strives to transform banking and grow prosperity in southwestern Ontario.
"Their robust focus on innovation aligns with our strategic initiatives that ultimately benefits the families, farms, enterprises and communities we passionately serve."
Everlink president & CEO Mark Ripplinger said: "Libro continuously demonstrates leadership across the payments spectrum and this partnership is another example as it now positions them to bring Interac Flash technology to their members, while at the same time enabling the foundation for Mobile Payments."
