Lebanese lender BLOM Bank has launched a new payment card for affluent customers in partnership with Visa.

The new offering, dubbed BLOM Visa Infinite Privilege Card, will be available to ultra-high net worth individuals on invitation basis only.

The metal card will be available in the Middle East and North Africa region.

BLOM Bank chairman and general manager Saad Azhari said: “We are pleased to have the opportunity to be amongst the few selected issuers to launch the BLOM Visa Infinite Privilege card in the MENA region.

“The BLOM Visa Infinite Privilege card is unique and offers benefits that are unparalleled by any other card of its kind. The metal card is designed to complement the lifestyle of Ultra-High Net worth individuals giving them personal recognition; access to “money can’t buy assets” and an extraordinary level of customer service.”

Benefits and privileges offered to the cardholders include insurance, concierge service, access to airport lounges, among others.

The card can be used to make purchases in more than 29 million establishments across the world.

Visa general manager for Middle East and North Africa Marcello Baricordi said: “Launch of our Visa Infinite Privilege Card with BLOM BANK marks an important milestone in the Lebanese market and affirms our partnership with the bank.

“The design and benefits associated with the card are truly an embodiment of how Visa brings unmatched experiences to a select group of customers whose lives are defined by distinction.”
