JCB International, the international subsidiary of Japanese card issuer JCB, has partnered with Robinsons Bank to expand its card acceptance network in Philippines.
The agreement will allow merchants that use Robinsons Bank payment terminals and payment gateway to accept JCB cards.

Following the agreement, JCB card members will be able to use their JCB cards to transact at most hotels, restaurants, and petrol stations including at Philippine low-cost airline Cebu Pacific.

Last month, JCB International inked a joint licencing agreement with Cyprus-based face to face acquirer JCC to extend its presence across Europe.
In February this year, JCB International also collaborated with Cambodian lender ACLEDA Bank to introduce a co-branded debit card in Cambodia.
