Investec, Metro Bank and TSB have joined the UK Payments Council with immediate effect.
All the three new entrants have joined the Payments Council as full members, bringing membership to an all-time high of 36, with a further 27 associate members.

The Payments Council operates as a body with responsibility for ensuring that payment services work for all those that use them in the UK.
By joining the council, its members can participate and contribute to the future strategy of payments, on topics including European and global developments such as the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), regulation, security and authentication, integrity, standards and innovation.
Payments Council chief executive said Adrian Kamellard said: "I’m delighted to welcome Investec, Metro Bank and TSB as full members of the Payments Council."
