Payment services provider Ingenico has partnered with Turkey’s PAVO, to develop the iWE280, an advanced mobile cash register that facilitates electronic fund transfer.

The latest device has received approval from the Turkish Revenue Administration, and passed all technical evaluations administered by Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).

Designed to process a variety of payments types, the iWE280 will allow customers to use contactless cards such as NFC cards, bank and public transport cards, along with smartcards and cards with magnetic stripes.

Ingenico Turkey general manager, Alpay Sidal, said the iWE280 device is the result of its extensive experience in innovative wireless device and demonstrates its continued leadership and strong investment in the Turkish market.

"Beyond legal requirement, we will provide customers and prospects with the most compact and advanced terminal along with the most comprehensive business solution for client," Sidal added.
