Ingenico has teamed up with software products and solutions
provider Intenda Net to implement POS solutions in Croatian
cabs.
Intenda Net has a Taxi business management
solution called inTaxi, which was used to deploy the Ingenico
iPA280 POS product. The devices are deployed in cabs that are part
of the local Oryx Grupa cab company and come with GPRS and GPS, as
well as a thermal printer and touchscreen.

The POS accepts regular debit cards, prepaid
and voucher cards and can be used for invoice printing detailing
start, distance and standing prices. It can also support loyalty
programmes on cabs.
Besides the payments aspect, the inTaxi
solution has features such as taximeter, vehicle location and
status tracking, drive order creation/receiving.
