Data security firm Imperva has added a device
identification and fraud malware detection to its fraud prevention
software ThreatRadar.

The companies said ThreatMetrix’s software
interoperates with the Imperva’s SecureSphere Web Application
Firewall (WAF) to help secure high-risk transactions, new account
origination and online authentication against fraud.

The ThreatRadar Fraud Prevention is aimed at
detecting fraudulent users and helps prevent fake accounts and
log-ins, mitigating fraud-related expenses, according to
Imperva.
