IDEX Biometrics has partnered with Chinese firm Feitian Technologies to further facilitate biometric card manufacturing.
The partnership will leverage IDEX’s dual-interface technology and Feitian’s fingerprint card pre-lam inlay technology to supply a complete pre-lam inlay solution to smart card manufacturers.

The pre-lam inlay includes all internal electronics provided in the biometric smart card. Under the collaboration, Feitian will supply a specially designed pre-lam inlay dedicated for use with the IDEX dual-interface sensor.
IDEX Biometrics expects that the partnership will help smart card manufacturers bring their offerings faster to the market.

Both the companies will work together to supply dual-interface biometric payment cards in the Asian region.
