US-based mobile payment solution provider I
Love Velvet has been granted an EMV2 certification, which means it
can now authorise chip-and-PIN payments from debit, credit and
smart internationally.  

I Love Velvet hopes its new certification will
attract new retail clients, after it recently announced deals to
provide POS operations for Nespresso and Verizon Wireless.

“Our mobile point-of-sales payment system, I
Love Velvet, is now fully operational in every country around the
world, and is positioned to be a top tier innovator and leader in
the mobility marketplace,” said Patrick Bouaziz, chief visionary
officer of I Love Velvet.

I Love Velvet’s customers in the payment
sector include Bank of America (merchant division), Moneris Canada,
Heartland Payment Systems, Zetes Nederland and TSYS.

The company also has clients in hospitality,
telecommunications, health care, fashion and travel.

I Love Velvet said that since being
established in 2010, the company have increased sales by 100%, and
it expects ‘exponential’ growth in 2012.
