HSBC has rolled out Paym service for Business Internet Banking subscribers allowing business customers to take payments using mobile phone numbers.
Paym service, which was previously limited to personal current account holders, will present customers the option of registering up to 50 different mobile numbers to accept payments across their eligible business current accounts.
The service will enable over 40 million UK bank customers to register for Paym with no limits set on the value of transactions that can be sent over the service
James Cliffe, head of business banking at HSBC, said: "Paym offers a convenient way for businesses, from local shops to tradespeople, to get paid by their customers – and HSBC is offering them 50 different mobile numbers to register to their accounts."
