HID Global, a provider of secure identity solutions, has snapped up DemoTeller, an instant issuance solutions provider for the financial market in North America.
The acquisition will allow HID Global to meet the needs of financial institutions and retailers for instant issuance of personalized financial or payment cards, such as a ‘chip card,’ with a fully integrated solution.

DemoTeller will provide solution, installation and maintenance services to expand HID Global’s secure issuance business beyond printers and consumables.
Furthermore, DemoTeller allows HID Global to sell a financial instant issuance solution to financial institutions and retailers, addressing the needs of payment card issuers looking to provide their customers instant access to their payment card offerings.
The DemoTeller solution, combined with HID Global’s printers and consumables, empowers financial institutions and retailers to provide a customer a personalized card that is activated, which increases the possibility that the customer will use it immediately.
