Gulf Oil, a US-based marketer of energy products, has launched the new Gulf Visa Card.
The new card, issued through Gulf’s partnership with First Bankcard, allows cardholders to secure points at Gulf stations and elsewhere each time after using the card.
Cardholders can earn three points for every $1 spent on any purchase at participating Gulf stations, as well as one point for every $1 spent elsewhere.
Points can then be automatically redeemed as Gulf Gift Cards, which can be used to buy gas or other items at any Gulf branded station.
The points are redeemed in 2,000 point increments, with every 2,000 points being equal to a $20 Gulf Gift Card. The gift cards are offered to customers automatically in increments of $20, $40, $60, $80 and $100.
