Kuwaiti lender Gulf Bank, in collaboration with Mastercard, has introduced World Elite Metal Credit Card with contactless payments feature.

The latest offering will be available exclusively to Gulf Bank Private Banking customers on an invitation-only basis.

With the World Elite Credit Card, the customers can avail a range of luxury services locally as well as abroad. It includes access at more than 1,200 airport lounges globally, travel insurance up to $500,000 and discounts on car rentals.

Further, the cardholders are eligible for discounts at shopping outlets and restaurants, as well as to earn points on local and international transactions.

The card is equipped with NFC technology to enable contactless transactions. The technology eliminates the need for inserting or swiping cards at check-out.

The Gulf Bank contactless credit card is also accepted at more than two million ATMs. It enables cash withdrawals up to 100% of the cardholder’s credit limit.

Recently, another Middle-East lender The Commercial Bank in Qatar launched a metal credit card for its Limited Edition customers.
