Gr4vy, a cloud-based payment orchestration platform, and Datalex, a provider of airline e-commerce solutions, have partnered to enhance payment systems within the airline industry.
The collaboration is set to “future-proof” airline payment infrastructures and “unlock new revenue opportunities” by simplifying and modernising the payment process.
The “exclusive” agreement leverages Datalex’s expertise in airline retailing and Gr4vy’s payment infrastructure.
Gr4vy’s platform will be integrated directly into DLX Pay, Datalex’s tailored payment platform for airlines, which is part of the Stellex Offer & Order Management platform or available as a standalone solution.
It aims to address the complexities of dealing with multiple payment providers and reduces the financial burden of updating outdated payment infrastructures, the press release noted.
The integration will facilitate the addition of new payment providers for airlines, shortening the time to market and increasing operational efficiencies.

By GlobalDataThe move is part of Gr4vy’s aim to support enterprise platforms with “white-labelled” payment solutions that cater to complex, multi-merchant environments, simplifying regional compliance and payment service provider management.
Gr4vy CEO and founder John Lunn said: “We’re seeing more enterprise platforms make orchestration a central part of their value proposition. With DLX Pay, Datalex can offer modern, localised payment experiences to its airline customers without reinventing the wheel. That’s exactly what Gr4vy for Platforms is built for.”
Datalex CEO Jonathan Rockett said: “We are delighted to announce our exclusive partnership with Gr4vy to bring additional payment orchestration capability to our DLX Pay customers. This capability will enable improved payment conversion rates and a more flexible, streamlined payment experience for airline passengers.
“As part of the Stellex + product suite, DLX Pay can be adopted as an add-on to our Offer & Order Management platform, Stellex, or as a standalone solution for airlines not currently using Stellex.”
