Google has added order tracking feature to its digital wallet app, Google Wallet, for Android and iOS users.

Google Wallet is a mobile payment system that allows users to store debit cards, credit cards, loyalty cards, and gift cards, among others, as well as redeem sales promotions.

The latest version of the app features ‘Orders,’ and will be initially rolled out in the US this week on Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

In order to use the new feature, users are required to click ‘Activate’ under ‘Orders’ in the app menu.

It allows users to automatically track online orders, receive notifications about status updates, as well as track all the past orders, the company noted.
