Focus POS, a provider of restaurant point of sale software, has teamed up with Mercury Payment Systems, a Vantiv company, to offer customers with an EMV solution.
The comprehensive payment processing solution features EMV and end-to-end encryption (E2E), as well as NFC and tokenization capabilities required for Apple Pay and other mobile wallets.

The solution will mainly benefit customers who utilize the VeriFone VX 805 and have upgraded to Focus POS version X.
The semi-integrated offering will not only protect customers businesses but also make it redundant for Focus POS to no longer need to handle sensitive credit card data.
