Sem Parar, a subsidiary of Fleetcor Technologies, has partnered with Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan in Brazil for contactless payments.
Under the arrangement, all new vehicles of Nissan will be equipped with Sam Perar-RFID tags to enable drivers to make contactless payments for various services.
Furthermore, all new Nissan vehicles produced in Brazil will come auto-fitted with Sem Parar electronic payment stickers. The agreement also extends to the used cars in the Nissan dealerships.
Around 50,000 Nissan vehicles are produced each year in Brazil and the company expect to increase the production by 50,000 to 100,000 by 2022.

Consumers who activate the feature can use contactless payments in all tollbooths in Brazil, 650 gas stations, 1,300 parking lots and 300 dive thrus in Brazil.
