Fiserv, a global financial services technology provider, has unveiled a new multi-channel electronic billing and payment platform for small and mid-sized billers as well as financial institutions and other industry-specific service providers.
Known as Biller Advantage, the new billing solution is targeted for billers who send 2,000 to 500,000 bills in a month. It allows them to send e-bills and accept electronic payments through channels like their website, mobile-optimised website, automated phone system (IVR) or customer service centre.

Fiserv biller solutions division president, Jardon Bouska, said that the small to mid-sized billers will now be able to offer branded, multi-channel electronic billing and payment capabilities which they have never offered before.
Available as a white-label product, the new billing solution will allow financial institutions and other providers to eliminate lag times associated with paper-based billing and payment methods, thus allowing their biller customers to lower costs and reduce time taken to receive payments.
With Biller Advantage, billers will be able to accept payments through multiple channels, including online, mobile and CSR-assisted; and also configure their own specifications such as payment limits and types and mode of acceptance.
Fiserv said that the billers can accept debit card, credit card or ACH debit payments, with or without fees, including distribution of electronic bills (e-bills), customer alerts and reminders.
