EFT Source, a provider of card programs and personalisation services, has teamed up with First Community Bank to deploy its instant issuance solution, Card@Once, across the latter’s entire branch network.
The Card@Once will accelerate the delivery of new and replacement debit cards on-site to clients of First Community Bank within seconds.
The bank has implemented the Card@Once solution within 60 days across seven of its existing branches.
The solution will allow the bank to offer permanent, fully functioning payment cards from any location within its branch network.
Upon request for new or replacement card, First Community Bank securely transfers the data from the branch location to EFT Source, where it is processed into an encrypted print file and returned electronically to the branch. Card@Once then encodes the data and the credit union prints the card, allowing the member to instantly take the card.

First Community Bank vice president of operations JoAnn Sullivan said: "The smooth implementation of Card@Once was critical because we were managing three different projects during that time, all of which were focused on increasing customer convenience and satisfaction."
