Everlink Payment Services has launched a new pin station sharing solution for credit union partners, which will allow a member of one credit union to change or reset their Personal Identification Number (PIN) in another credit union branch.
Known as PIN Services Locator, the new service will enable cardholders of client credit unions that enroll in the program, to locate a participating credit union quickly and easily and make PIN changes to their debit card at that credit unions’ in-branch PIN Station.
The service, which does not require any host/banking system changes, is projected to particularly benefit consumers travelling to different parts of the country and will help them make changes to their PIN at any participating credit union.
Everlink president and CEO Mark Ripplinger said: "Everlink’s new PIN Station Sharing Solution enables our partnering Credit Unions to offer greater geographical coverage and cardholder service by allowing members to complete PIN changes or resets in locations that might be more convenient to them.
"Although our PIN Services Locator currently lists locations in Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan, we are continuously adding new locations to make PIN Station Sharing available across the country."
