US-based Equinox Payments has joined forces with Infinite Peripherals (IPC) to offer a mobile payment solution that is compatible with Apple iOS by integrating IPC’s Linea Pro for iPod touch or iPhone, or the Infinea Tab for the iPad.
Both Linea Pro and Infinea Tab will work with custom software to create a mobile system for POS, as well as inventory management, asset tracking, ID verification and lead tracking.

By leveraging Equinox Remote Key Injection (RKI) platform, IPC will be able to offer its customers with remote key injection capabilities on its POS-related devices to increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
According to IPC, the Equinox RKI platform will completely eliminate the need for a secure room or special security procedures and this will allow symmetric debit PIN and data encryption keys to be safely and securely distributed anywhere a POS device is located.
Also, the Equinox RKI platform will enable customers to inject multiple keys in a single session and benefit from greater flexibility when adding processor and encryption keys.
