This way, airlines will no longer need to
individually go through merchant account approval, technology
selection and technology integration processes. Jonas Reynisson,
chairman of eMerchantPay, said that this would provide a “seamless
solution that takes care of all the details”.

“This is an ideal solution for small- and
medium-size airlines because it provides an undisputed competitive
advantage with little to no implementation effort,” said Lasse
Meilsoe, WorldTicket’s CEO.

The new capabilities allow airlines to offer
worldwide online payment processing in a number of languages,
currencies and payment methods.
