Electronic Payments, a US-based provider of merchant services and payment processing solutions, has purchased all the assets of Exatouch Point of Sale, a cloud-hybrid point of sale software system providing customized solutions to merchants nationwide.

As part of the acquisition, all of Exatouch’s staff will join the EPI team and will work out of its Boca Raton offices.

Exatouch provides a fully certified, semi-integrated EMV solution and supports additional technologies such as signature capture, NFC, mobile wallets and eGiftSolutions, Electronic Payments’ proprietary gift card platform.

Exatouch founder Terry Glatt said: "The backing of EPI allows Exatouch to continue to uniquely service payments professionals who need a solid POS offering."

Electronic Payments founder and CEO Michael Nardy said: "The Exatouch product suite will fit well into our company’s technology offerings and allow us to serve our partners in new and exciting ways."

The deal is expected to allow Electronic Payments develop the Exatouch brand and provide its ISO, agent and merchant partners advanced payment technologies.
