EFT Source and Grand Valley Bank have partnered to provide the Colorado-based bank’s customers with instant issuance.

The new partners say that EFT Source’s technology, Card@Once, will ensure customers have to wait seconds to receive a new or replacement debit card.

Chris Morse, vice president and operations officer for Grand Valley Bank, said: "Today, people rely on their debit card for nearly all transactions in their day-to-day lives. If a customer needs a replacement card because it was lost or stolen, they should not be punished with a seven to ten day wait for a new card to arrive.

"Card@Once allows us to instantly deliver a card with a customised PIN to the customer on the spot, which improves satisfaction and maximizes convenience."

After a two week testing period, the bank rolled out Card@Once across all its branches.

Dinker, president of EFT Source, said: "For more than 30 years, recognizing and addressing customers’ needs with a personal approach has been a cornerstone of Grand Valley Bank’s success.
