Diners Club Italia has inked a deal with SIX Payment Services, the card-based solutions provider, to promote Diners Club and Discover cards in Italy.
The long-term merchant acquisition agreement will make the processing of Diners Club and Discover cards possible in Italy from April 2013.

SIX Payment Italy’s country manager Christian Ceroni said the arrangement strengthens the company’s position as an international, cross-brand acquirer.
Merchants who activate Diners Club cards will be able to accept Discover cards under the same terms and conditions.
The Diners Club credit card is used by over eight million cardholders worldwide, and accepted by more than 14 million merchants in 185 countries, according to the company.
SIX Payment Services supports the processing of Diners Club Card and Discover card in 16 European countries.
