Integrated payments middleware provider Datacap Systems has completed US EMV level 3 certification with Paymentech/Sterling and unveiled an EMV-capable version of NETePay.
NETePay for Sterling will enable POS providers to offer US EMV functionality via an evolving list of PIN Pads through a simple out-of-scope interface.
The EMV-capable version of NETePay can utilise Verifone’s VX 805 PIN Pad that supports EMV, MSR, PIN as well as NFC contactless transactions.
Sterling NETePay is available through the Sterling/Datacap Usage Program that will enable dealers to offer NETePay through a solution-as-a-service model.
This is expected to result in a recurring revenue stream without any requirement of upfront investment or risk for the installer.
