Datacap Systems, an integrated payments middleware provider, has completed US EMV Level 3 Certification with Vantiv and has released an EMV-capable version of NETePay.

The NETePay for Vantiv solution provides PC-based point of sale providers with the ability to deliver US EMV functionality via a simple out-of-scope interface.

The EMV-capable version of NETePay will initially use the VX 805 PIN Pad from Verifone that supports EMV, MSR, PIN and NFC contactless transactions.

Datacap said that the solution will also include other hardware options supporting point-to-point encryption and tokenization as the company completes queued device certifications.

Datacap Systems marketing director Justin Zeigler said: "Integrated software vendors, value-added resellers and their merchant customers are in a good position to implement EMV-enabled versions of NETePay to meet U.S. EMV requirements."

Vantiv Vice president developer integrations Matt Ozvat said: "This is a natural extension of our relationship with Datacap to achieve EMV certification to the Vantiv processing platform, enabling our mutual merchant customers to have a path toward EMV acceptance.
