UK-based CPP Group has launched a wallet monitoring card dubbed Lasu, which allows customers to cancel their cards immediately if the wallet is lost.
The newly launched tracker card is integrated with the thinnest bluetooth tracker and the firm’s card blocking and replacement service.
Lasu tracker card syncs with a smartphone app on the mobile phones to ensure constant monitoring. If the user cannot locate their wallet and cards, it can be cancelled through the app or online instantly.
In addition, CPP will contact multiple card providers on behalf of the customer to arrange to cancel and replace the lost card.
The new product will be available across CPP’s international markets, following a beta launch in the UK.
CPP Group product and marketing director Sid Mouncey said: “In our ever more mobile lives, we expect to do everything and anything on the go. That means carrying our worlds with us as we move. Our research found that the prospect of losing a card or wallet is common place and consumers want to reduce the time taken to realise that their wallet is lost to prevent hassle and potential misuse.
