German payment service provider Computop has partnered with remote payments firm CardinalCommerce to help retailers improve their authorization rates and reduce their fraud risk.
Under the deal, Computop will integrate Cardinal Consumer Authentication into Computop Paygate platform, providing retailers in the US, Europe and other international markets with secure payments and conversion for their e-commerce and mobile operations.
The collaboration will offer retailers with technology to enhance authorization rates and mitigate online fraud while supporting retailers’ needs for a seamless consumer experience.
Through this partnership, Cardinal’s rules-based Consumer Authentication will now be available to Computop Paygate customers.
Computop said that the partnership will create fewer check-out abandonments, less false positives, improved margins through lower interchange rates, a liability shift on chargebacks and less manual reviews.
Cardinal senior vice president of merchant services Alasdair Rambaud said: "We are very excited about our partnership with Computop, as it allows us to further extend our offerings to global merchants. It also enables us to provide our Customers with more payment options for serving consumers abroad."
