Coinify, a Denmark-based digital currency payment provider, has signed a new Certified PSP partner agreement with PensoPay, a provider of card acquiring and payment gateway services, to expand its bitcoin merchant processing solution’s distribution channel.
The agreement will provide PensoPay the rights to promote, advertise and sell Coinify Merchant Solution.
The deal will also enable PensoPay Merchants to accept bitcoin and get paid in any local currency with no risk, chargebacks, or fraud.
With this agreement, Coinify will expand its presence in both online and physical retail markets via PensoPay’s network, and will convert more merchants to Bitcoin payment acceptance.
Additionally, PensoPay will serve as an independent contractor managing technical support and after-sales services.
PensoPay CEO Ulrik Pilehave said: "PensoPay can now offer all our international merchants a professional Bitcoin payment product. For us it is very important that Coinify provides a solution that accepts Bitcoin on behalf of our merchants and that the merchant will receive local currencies."
