Clear2Pay, a Belgian payments technology company, has received Visa authorisation for its personalisation validation tool, Visa GPR Test Suite, to comply with their latest Global Personalization Requirements (GPR).

According to Clear2Pay, Visa GPR Test Suite will validate the personalisation of contact- and contactless cards, as well as mobile payment applications.

The tool will also allow issuers and personalisation bureaus to perform their card and mobile testing in automated mode, detect issues rapidly and facilitate the mandatory Visa certification process.

Additionally, the tool will allow card issuers to verify how personalised cards or mobile devices behave during transactions – domestic or international, low/high amount, cash, and purchase, among others.

The solution will include terminal simulators to mimic the behaviour of payment acceptance devices which allows users to simulate different types of payment acceptance devices.

Clear2Pay Test Solutions general manager, Marie Costers, said: "With the global card and mobile payments market in full expansion, it is our mission to provide the flexible testing tools needed to maintain a trustworthy environment in a changing marketplace."
