Citi has launched a web-based card activity
monitoring application called Program Audit tool (PAT) for its
commercial card clients.
The programme can be used by corporations for
card management, compliance and optimisation and enables the bank’s
clients to detect card transactions that are not within their set
limits and outside their internal policy rules.

Clients can, for instance, set card usage
restrictions based on merchant types or by merchant codes – and
also by merchant name.
The programme works globally. Citi’s global
head of commercial cards Manish Kohli said that PAT can therefore
help to establish internal controls and audition processes.
PAT is built into Citi’s proprietary reporting
system and can be accessed via its global programme management tool
CitiManager.
