China Construction Bank (CCB) has collaborated with JCB International (JCBI), the international operations subsidiary of JCB, to launch Japan Traveling Credit Card targeting Chinese who travel to Japan.
The new credit card will provide customers with wide range of special services in Japan including three days free mobile Wi-Fi router rental and discounts on admission to popular sightseeing spots.
The scheme will also benefit JCB cardholders outside Japan with standard JCB card services that consist of discounts at duty-free shops at selected airports and free gift certificates at selected hotels in Japan.
JCBI deputy president Kimihisa Imada said: "The number of Chinese travelling to Japan is growing dramatically, and I expect Japan Traveling Credit Card will serve the needs of such travelers. Japan Traveling Credit Card is focused on providing card-members with top-level service and will make their trip to Japan more enjoyable.
"China is one of the most important markets with over 10 million JCB cardmembers. I look forward to continuing to work with our partners such as CCB to enhance our payment related services for cardmembers in China."
