China CITIC Bank has joined forces with American Express (AmEx) to introduce a new premium credit card for US-bound travellers, overseas students and businessmen.

Dubbed CITIC American Express Platinum Card, the new card forms part of the bank’s premium product layout for business travellers.

Cardholders will be able to avail free foreign exchange transaction and will receive six times the reward points on all their overseas spending.

The card will also offer exclusive US-based merchant offers, savings on travel purchases, as well as cash rebates for online shopping at overseas merchants through TopCashback, AmEx’s global Cashback website partner.

Cardholders will also gain access to the bank’s US visa application service and AmEx’ international education service platform.
