American provider of mobile point of sale (mPOS) technology CardFlight has launched SwipeSimple, a ready-to-use solution that provides 100% free co-branding.
SwipeSimple enables credit card processors, merchant service providers, independent sales organisations (ISOs), agents and other resellers to offer an mPOS product to their merchants.
"To stay competitive, ISOs and others who sell credit card processing services need to offer a mobile POS to their merchants," said CardFlight’s founder and CEO Derek Webster.
It provides free co-branding, allowing resellers to promote their brand throughout the merchant experience at no extra charge.
"We repeatedly heard frustrations with existing mobile POS solutions in the market when speaking with ISOs and their agents.
"Based on their input, we’ve created a product that features an elegant and simple user experience, without the pain points and lack of customization faced with other solutions," explained Webster.

By GlobalDataCardFlight provides SwipeSimple to distribution partners, rather than soliciting merchants directly.
The solution includes encrypted magnetic card readers that work through the audio jack of smartphones and tablets, payment acceptance applications for iOS and Android devices and a payment gateway that supports all the major processors.
In October 2013, CardFlight raised $1.6m in seed-round funding led by ff Venture Capital, a firm specialised in providing seed-stage funding to technology companies.
