Mobile point-of-sale solutions firm CardFlight has added invoice generator to its SwipeSimple payment acceptance solution built for small businesses.

The latest enhancement will enable businesses to leverage SwipeSimple. Businesses will then be able to send invoices, save cards on file and set up recurring payments.

Businesses with back-office billing needs can use the platform to invoice and collect payment even when the cardholder isn’t present.

It will also enable them to create and send mobile-friendly invoices through email and also customize invoices with company logo and custom notes.

Using the enhanced version of the platform, businesses can also give customers to make payment from a web browser via secure payment link and save their credit card for future use.

The platform will also feature advanced search, sort and filter functionality that will enables merchants to view invoice status and history.

CardFlight founder and CEO Derek Webster said: “Because we work with a strong network of merchant acquirers, independent sales organizations, and banks, SwipeSimple is already used by more than 50,000 small businesses across the United States to easily accept payments wherever they are.

“With invoices, we’re bringing the ease of SwipeSimple to new types of back-office billing and B2B businesses, and our existing merchants can benefit from even more ways to get paid.

In September last year, CardFlight unveiled Version 5.0 of SwipeSimple that features a combination of paper receipt printing and countertop hardware. It provides merchants with a portable printer to issue paper receipts, along with a compatible cash drawer.
