Boku, a global mobile payment company, has acquired Germany-based carrier billing firm mopay, solidifying its position as the largest carrier billing-based mobile payment services provider in the world.
mopay operates in more than 80 countries across the globe. Its customer base includes major brands like Valve, gameloft, and Wargaming.
The combined assets of the two companies will provide a more standardized carrier billing solution to the benefit of merchants, carriers and consumers.
