BMI Bank, a Bahrain-based retail and commercial banking institution, has joined forces with Muharraq Sports Club (SC) and MasterCard to launch a co-branded sports-based loyalty and rewards credit card in the country.
The new credit card’s list of specific benefits and a detailed annual rewards programme is expected to be made public soon.

BMI Bank chief executive officer, Jamal Al-Hazeem, said: "The Muharraq club Titanium credit card will be Bahrain’s first ever co-branded credit card that rewards customers with a host of special and unique benefits as well as provides an opportunity for fans to show their loyalty to the club.
"The credit card also marks our first collaborative effort with MasterCard, a leading technology company in the global payments industry. We see the unveiling of the Muharraq club MasterCard Titanium Card as a beginning of a long and productive partnership."
In the past, BMI Bank launched the La Carte co-branded credit card in collaboration with Geant Hypermarket and the savings scheme prize based credit card Ayadi Plus.
