Bitcoin exchange BitX has launched bitcoin services in Nigeria to allow customers to access its bitcoin wallet, exchange and API services.
Nigerians can now buy and sell bitcoin instantly using the BitX Android app or iOS app apps, trade naira/bitcoin on the BitX Exchange and use the BitX API to develop their own Bitcoin products and services.

The company will apply its security and compliance systems to Nigeria, as they do with other countries. These procedures will help detect money laundering and fraud in the Nigerian market.
The company is also working with a number of partners in order to introduce new products into the market.
