Designed to address the challenges faced by both biller and bill recipient, the new service allows bill recipients to receive an emailed summary of their invoices along with the PDF bill attachments.
According to Billtrust, the bill recipients will be able to securely view and pay invoices as well as download invoicing data directly into accounting packages. They will also have convenient access to invoices anytime, anywhere.
Additionally, billers using the new platform can send out invoices through email, and receive electronic payment and remittance data that automatically loads into ERP systems.
Billtrust payments senior vice president, Bruno Perreault, said: "Increasing the use of online payments that deliver the needed remittance data is becoming more important for companies as they face slower mail times, increased costs and inefficiencies in payment application. This service is the new path to electronic payment adoption."
