Bigcommerce, an Australian-based ecommerce platform, has partnered with Braintree and PayPal to offer seamless payment processing for small and mid-sized retailers.
Under the partnership, PayPal will provide its instant checkout service, One Touch, to merchants using the Bigcommerce ecommerce platform.
Shoppers will now be able to pay across Bigcommerce’s more than 90,000 online stores in a single touch, without needing to enter user IDs or passwords after their first login.
The new payment service will be available at all Bigcommerce merchants in the US in the coming weeks, with plans to launch internationally later this year.
Using One Touch for web and mobile, merchants can benefit from expedited transfers on sales through their online stores as well as early access to all new payment methods supported by PayPal, across all devices, via a single integration.
PayPal said that One Touch will benefit Bigcommerce merchants from business-accelerating features such as built-in payment processing with support for all major credit and debit cards, mobile-ready payments as well as straightforward pricing and expert support.
